The World Cup is at Nottingham Hockey Centre, in the vibrant city of Nottingham.

If you have never been to Nottingham it is famous for quite a few things, not just robin Hood!

It’s a vibrant European city with numerous cafes, restaurants and bars. The city is also known for Trent Bridge Cricket Ground, the City Ground – home of Nottingham Forest and Meadow Lane – home of Notts County.

Ibuprofen, HP Sauce and the Castle Rock Brewery all started in Nottingham – in many ways there the city’s local treasures! Nottingham also has aheritage of lace making and bicycle production. The Nottingham Hockey Centre is set in the picturesque grounds of Highfields Park which was left In trust by Jesse Boot, founder of Boots Company PLC, for the people of Nottingham for sport and recreation.

This legacy has enabled the development of one of the best sporting corridors in the country including hockey, football. Rugby, cricket, netball, croquet, bowls, beach volleyball and, next to the Hockey Centre, the renowned Nottingham Tennis Centre.
